Heavy Duty Casters

Heavy duty casters in this catalogue are top-plate industrial caster series for equipment and material-handling sourcing. KORONO lists fourteen series in 100–200 mm wheel diameters, including solid-wheel, PP, TPR, rubber and iron-core PU options. “Heavy duty” is a range label; final load suitability must be confirmed for the exact model and operating conditions.

KORONO manufactures these caster ranges in Hengshui, Hebei, China, and supplies importers, distributors and equipment manufacturers directly. Compare mounting dimensions and wheel families below, then send the equipment drawing and duty information for quotation.

How to choose a heavy duty caster range

Selection point Published options on this page Confirm for your equipment
Mounting fit Top-plate series with model-specific plate, hole-centre and bolt-hole dimensions Plate orientation, fasteners, mounting height and available swivel/brake clearance
Wheel family Solid-wheel, PP, TPR, rubber and iron-core PU series Floor condition, temperature, liquids, cleaning method, noise and marking requirements
Configuration Rigid, swivel and swivel-with-brake options are listed on the relevant series pages Quantity and position of each configuration
Load requirement Exact rating confirmed for the selected model Total equipment weight including payload, caster count, load distribution, speed, obstacles and duty cycle

Start with mounting compatibility, then compare the wheel family against the operating environment. A shared wheel diameter or colour does not prove that two series are interchangeable or have the same load or material performance.

Compare heavy duty caster mounting options

Start with the mounting dimensions and your equipment requirements. The series name does not establish a safe working load. The examples below show why wheel diameter alone cannot confirm a replacement fit.

Series Wheel diameter / mounting height (mm) Tread width (mm) Plate (mm) Hole centres (mm) Bolt hole (mm)
Iron-core PU 100 / 135; 125 / 160; 150 / 185; 200 / 235 50 95 × 110 72 × 85 11
Black rubber 100 / 135; 125 / 160; 150 / 185; 200 / 235 50 95 × 110 72 × 85 11
High-load PP 100 / 155; 125 / 180; 150 / 205; 200 / 230 50 99 × 115 72 × 85 Confirm

Can I replace a caster with another of the same wheel diameter?

Check overall mounting height, plate dimensions, hole centres, bolt-hole diameter and turning or brake clearance. For example, the listed 100 mm high-load PP option has a 155 mm mounting height, while the 100 mm iron-core PU and black rubber options list 135 mm. Confirm the exact configuration against your drawing.

What information is needed to confirm load capacity?

Provide total equipment weight including payload, number of casters, load distribution, floor condition, operating speed and any obstacles. Request a confirmed rating for the selected model. Do not infer single-caster capacity from a series name or an unqualified four-caster load figure.

For high-load PP, confirm the bolt-hole diameter and intended plate version before ordering. Other wheel series may have different tread widths; open the relevant specification table rather than applying these examples to every series.
