Why KORONO: A Caster Manufacturer in Hengshui, China
A manufacturer with its own workshop, not a trading desk
KORONO (Karono Hardware Products (Hengshui) Co., Ltd.) runs its own caster production in Hengshui, Hebei, China. Manufacturing and export sit under one roof: the people who answer your enquiry work next to the people who make the wheels. For buyers, this means one accountable partner from material selection to loading, and no relay of information through a third party.
Being the manufacturer also changes how problems are solved. When a wheel needs a different tread, a different core or a different bracket detail, the request goes directly into production for sample confirmation instead of being negotiated with an outside factory.
What we produce
The catalogue covers 28 caster series with wheel diameters from 75 to 200 mm, organised in four families:
- Light duty casters for trolleys, display equipment and light institutional use
- Heavy duty casters for industrial equipment, platforms and demanding transport
- Integral wheel casters where wheel and core are formed as one body
- Shock absorbing casters for equipment that must protect its load over rough floors
Wheel materials include polypropylene (PP), TPR, rubber and iron-core PU, so the material can be matched to the floor, the environment and the duty cycle rather than forced into whatever a single material range happens to offer. If you are not sure which family fits, start with the seven-step caster selection guide.
How we control quality
Quality control at KORONO is built around confirmation at each stage rather than inspection at the end:
- Material matching. The wheel material is selected against your floor condition, load basis, speed and environment before a model is proposed.
- Sample confirmation. For projects with specific requirements, a sample is confirmed before bulk production, so the approved wheel is the wheel you receive.
- In-process checks. Wheels and brackets are checked during production, so deviations are caught at the batch level rather than discovered at packing.
- Finished inspection. Completed casters are inspected before packing, covering appearance, rotation and bracket condition.
We keep claims conservative on purpose. Where a property depends on the exact compound or configuration — such as chemical resistance, noise level or temperature range — we say so and ask for your operating details instead of quoting a general figure. This is also how our purchasing guide is written.
Who we work with
KORONO supplies importers, wholesalers, distributors and equipment manufacturers. Two kinds of cooperation are common:
- Standard series supply. Buyers select from the 28 series, confirm the exact model, and order against the confirmed specification.
- Sample-first projects. Buyers with specific requirements — a different tread, core, bracket detail or packing arrangement — confirm a sample before committing to volume.
Both routes start the same way: describe the equipment, the floor and the load basis in your enquiry, and the reply will name a concrete series and model, with the points that still need confirmation listed openly.
How an enquiry works
- Send your application: the equipment, the floor condition, the load basis and the environment.
- Receive a model recommendation with the exact specifications that need your confirmation.
- Confirm a sample where the project requires one.
- Order and ship against the confirmed specification.
Enquiries go directly to Michael: michael@keluonuo-caster.com. If you already know the series you need, the full product list is the fastest starting point; if the wheels are worn and you need to identify a replacement, read how to measure a caster for replacement first.
